The roll call that builds your payroll for you
Roll call in one tap, from your phone, and the weekly payroll adds itself up.
Matterial's attendance takes your crew's roll call from your phone, right on site. You mark who showed up, who was out and who worked a half-day, attach a photo as backup, and it all lands in a monthly history per worker. From those records the weekly payroll builds itself: no more calling the roll in a notebook and redoing the math on Saturday.
What problem it solves
Today the roll call lives in a notebook or the group chat: the site engineer jots down who arrived, someone copies it into a spreadsheet, and on Saturday, list in hand, the payroll gets worked out by hand. One day miscounted or a half-shift forgotten turns into a wrong payment —or a worker's complaint— and there is no photo, no record of who was actually on site.
How it works
Find the worker
A search box takes you to any crew member without scrolling a long list; tap their name and you're ready to mark them.
Mark attendance
In one tap you log present, absent or half-day for each person, straight from your phone.
Attach the photo
Add a photo of the roll call as backup for who was on site that day.

Frequently asked questions
Can I log a half-day?
Yes. Each worker is marked present, absent or half-day, and that half-shift carries straight through to the weekly payroll, with no separate adjustment.
How does the payroll get calculated from the roll call?
The weekly payroll builds itself from the days (and half-days) you marked during the week. You don't capture attendance in one place and the math in another: the roll call is the source of the calculation.
What is the photo for?
It stays as backup for who was actually on site that day. Handy against a pay dispute, or to reconcile the payroll when someone claims they worked and does not appear.
Can I see attendance from previous months?
Yes. Each worker has a monthly history, so you can check who was out or worked a half-day on any date, without depending on last week's notebook.
