Project risk alerts
Risk alerts watches the active project and warns you when something gets out of control: a budget group that already spent more than planned, a material delivery that won’t arrive on time, a late task, or a progress billing that charges more progress than is measured. It is calculated from your real data, without AI, so it doesn’t use credits.
- Every alert comes from your data: budget, purchases, receipts, schedule, daily log and progress billings.
- They are sorted by severity: high, medium and low. Always start with the high ones.
- Each row explains the risk and shows its key metric (how much over, how many days, which material).
- You can assign an alert to someone on the team: it reaches their Tasks inbox as an assignment.
- It also watches the schedule: delivery slipping against the frozen baseline, and activities with a start and no end date (the ones the project leaves out).
- Site weather is quoted here when there are risky days, with the detail in Site weather.
- It doesn’t use credits: it is a deterministic calculation, not an AI opinion.

Pick the project
Switch projects at the top right. The subtitle tells you how many alerts the active project has right now.
- 2
Read the severity summary
The high, medium and low counters tell you at a glance how the project is doing. High ones cost money or dates if they aren’t handled today.
- 3
Review each alert
Each row says what is happening and where: for example “Foundation: over budget” with the amount, “Delivery at risk: rebar” with the promised date, or “Late task” with the days.
- 4
Assign whoever solves it
From the alert you create an assignment for a teammate, with a date. It shows up in their Tasks and you see on the alert who it was assigned to.
Frequently asked questions
Why don’t I see any alerts?
Because no risk is detected with the data that project has today. The screen tells you what it watches: MONEY (it compares your budget against spend and committed amounts, so it needs delivered purchase orders, receipts or progress billings), the SCHEDULE (activities behind the plan, activities with no end date, and delivery slipping against the baseline) and the WEATHER (the days that stop outdoor work, with the detail in Site weather).
Do alerts use AI credits?
No. They are calculated with fixed rules over your budget, purchases and schedule; they don’t use AI.
How often are they updated?
They are recalculated every time you open the screen or switch projects, with the data at that moment: if you record a purchase or progress, the next time you come in the alert already takes it into account.
